DE MONTEL SPA REGULATIONS - TERME MILANO

Customers accessing the De Montel - Terme Milano spa establishment (hereinafter referred to as "De Montel") are required to scrupulously comply with the rules of conduct contained in these Rules of Procedure in order to guarantee their own and others' health and safety as well as to avoid damaging the facilities and the beauty of the setting, in accordance with the general principles of morality and public order.

De Montel's facilities are available to all customers, subject to the rules listed below, who are nevertheless required to preserve their integrity and operation in compliance with hygiene and prevention regulations.

The purchase of an admission ticket implies full acceptance of these Regulations.

HOW TO GET IN AND OUT OF DE MONTEL:

Upon entering the establishment, customers receive (at the available automatic or manned checkouts), n. 1 disposable Rfid wristband, which:

  • allows access to the spa via the automatic gates, the opening of one's locker in the changing room, and the charging of any purchases made inside De Montel. Please note that no cash or other forms of payment are used inside the park.
  • has your assigned locker number printed inside the men's or women's changing room, as well as the time of use for any additional services purchased such as buffets, treatments and/or massages,
  • it is compulsory for customers to wear the Rfid disposable wristband by fastening it with the special sticker; in case of loss, the responsibility for any additional services charged on the wristband lies with the customer. In case of loss, please go immediately to the reception desk and inform the staff there.

Before entering the changing rooms, customers must collect one personalised De Montel tote bag complete with:

  • 1 towel and 1 personalised De Montel bathrobe (this linen is provided for hire, against payment, for the duration of your stay at De Montel and must be returned on departure);
  • 1 pair of personalised De Montel slippers (together with the personalised De Montel tote bag is a customer gift)

On leaving De Montel, customers are invited to:

  • return your laundry kit, towel and personalised De Montel bathrobe, to the collection points located in the changing rooms, checking that you have not left any personal items inside the changing rooms and that you have closed the locker;
  • bring the slippers and tote bag used during their stay in De Montel as a gift;
  • settle and pay for any additional services purchased during their stay at De Montel and charged to their Rfid bracelet, preferably via the available automatic cash machines, in order to avoid queues at the exit;
  • To facilitate check-out without check-out obligations, customers are invited to join the token service at the demontel.com by releasing your credit card details. In this mode, any further charges will be automatic and it will be possible to exit the gates without going through the cashiers beforehand.
  • The Rfid wristband is not reusable and can only be removed after leaving the spa exit gates.

Customers may not use underwear and/or footwear other than those provided by De Montel.

Pets of any kind and size are not allowed inside De Montel

DE MONTEL SPA REGULATIONS - TERME MILANO

Customers are invited to:

  • Avoid bathing immediately after eating and, in any case, during the digestion phase.
  • Take short, frequent baths so that the body adapts better to the stimuli received. Do not stay in the water for more than 20 minutes.
  • Do not stay inside the saunas and steam baths for longer than 20 minutes. In case of illness, press the alarm button inside the experiences.
  • Alternate, between baths, a period of relaxation of at least 20 minutes.

Those suffering from one or more of the illnesses or clinical conditions listed below, as an indication and without any intention of being exhaustive, are invited to consult the medical staff, which is available to guests at De Montel, during the scheduled hours, and by telephone throughout the park's opening hours (contact the staff at the main reception, the SPA reception or the bathing attendants, who will be able to provide all the information necessary to contact the medical staff):

  • Uncompensated heart disease
  • Uncompensated arterial hypertension or hypotension
  • Uncompensated chronic respiratory diseases
  • Acute skin diseases
  • Epilepsy or convulsive seizures
  • Varicose disease

IN PREGNANCY

IN PREGNANCYexcluding cases of high-risk pregnancy and any other obstetrical-gynaecological problems, pregnant women may bathe in thermal waters. 

Remembering that for a safe and beneficial thermal water bath, the following indications are recommended:

  • take baths lasting a maximum of 15 minutes and alternate them with breaks outside the baths of at least 10 min
  • avoid diving and keep your head above water;
  • avoid whirlpool jets in the tub or waterfall directly on the abdomen.

A customer who identifies himself/herself in one of the above-mentioned conditions or is aware of additional information concerning his/her health that is not mentioned, is obliged to have an interview with the medical staff before entering the pool. For further information on how to contact the doctor by telephone, please contact the SPA reception desk or the pool attendants.

PROVISIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CUSTOMERS

  • De Montel shall not be liable for damage to persons and/or property resulting from failure to comply with these Rules and disclaims all liability for accidents and/or damage to oneself or others caused by the negligence, inexperience or imprudence of Customers.
  • Children under the age of 16 are not allowed to enter the thermal spa (this is understood to be the age of 16, which can be proved by means of an identity document). Minors who have reached the age of 16 will only be allowed entry if accompanied by an adult who declares that he/she exercises parental authority (father, mother or guardian). On special opening days dedicated to children, minors under 16 years of age will also be admitted, provided that they are at least 8 years old (which can be proved by means of an identity document or a declaration by the person exercising parental authority), according to the specific conditions published on the website www.demontel.it.
  • Admission is to be considered a single admission and the time included in the admission itself runs from the entrance turnstile to the exit turnstile. Any delays in the actual entry time, with respect to the purchased entry time, will not entitle the holder to a postponement of the exit nor guarantee the right to enter De Montel. In the event of early exit, with respect to the expiry of the purchased ticket, it will not be possible to re-enter De Montel. In the event of exit being delayed with respect to the expiry date of the ticket purchased, the customer will be required to pay the additional time as set out in the price list displayed at Reception.
  • De Montel shall not be responsible for the safekeeping of Customers' belongings, even if deposited inside the lockers provided, and therefore declines all liability for any theft, loss or damage to valuables and/or objects, taking delivery only of any Customer luggage that does not fit into the lockers, which shall be deposited in the appropriate rooms.
  • It is compulsory to enter the sauna area with a towel and wearing a swimming costume.
  • The use of audio/video players or hands-free calls without earphones is forbidden, and mobile phone ring tones must be kept in 'silent' mode.
  • All customers are expected to maintain a decorous attitude inside and outside every De Montel environment, keeping a tone of voice appropriate to the environment and in the context of absolute relaxation.
  • It is mandatory to leave all experiences, pools and saunas at least 30 minutes before closing time.
  • In the event of thunderstorms, customers are obliged, for the protection of their own safety, to immediately leave the swimming pools and water areas outside, even if they are not asked to do so by the bathing attendants.
  • Customers are obliged to respect the instructions coming from the De Montel staff and, in particular, those coming from the bathing attendants, who take care of safety, taking care to maintain order and pleasantness during the wellness, fun and relaxation experience at De Montel.
  • For reasons of hygiene and to protect the image of De Montel in its entirety (common areas, changing rooms, gardens, etc.), it is forbidden to bring in and/or bring in from outside any type of food and/or drink.
  • For reasons of hygiene, it is forbidden to consume food and drink inside the swimming pools and saunas, even if purchased inside De Montel.
  • Showering before entering any pool and/or wellness practice is compulsory.
  • It is mandatory to wear your swimming costume in the entire De Montel area, none excluded. It is also compulsory to wear the De Montel bathrobe provided if you wish to access the SPA cabins or the restaurants and bars.
  • The slippers provided are to be used in all areas and caution is urged when travelling.
  • Slippers should not be used inside swimming pools and saunas, including steam baths and all areas with salt.
  • Access to the pools must be by using the appropriate handrails and/or ladders. Running, diving and dangerous games are prohibited: De Montel is a place dedicated to relaxation, well-being and tranquillity. Pushing and jumping into the water from the edge of the pools is prohibited; jokes in the water and in particular running along the pool edges can be dangerous.
  • The use of flippers, mats, dinghies or anything else the staff on duty may deem dangerous to pool-goers is prohibited.
  • Free diving is prohibited.
  • Spilling liquids or anything else of a physiological nature into the water is prohibited, contravening hygiene regulations and constituting a risk to the health of others. It is strongly discouraged to use the pools during the digestive phase.
  • Care should be taken when wearing silver and/or other metal objects, as they may oxidise and/or cause burns.
  • It is forbidden to bring glass or ceramics or other objects that could harm third parties into De Montel.
  • Persons in a state of intoxication or under the influence of narcotics or otherwise substances that alter the individual's mental and physical condition are not permitted to enter De Montel.
  • Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is forbidden inside the spa with the sole exception of the outdoor areas reserved for smokers, which will be provided in accordance with the regulations in force.
  • In the event of damage to De Montel's facilities, services and equipment, the Customer shall be liable for the damage caused.
  • De Montel disclaims all liability for anything left unattended and/or abandoned inside or outside the establishment itself, including lockers in the changing rooms, as well as in the parking areas.
  • Customers with prescription spectacles and/or sunglasses inside De Montel are urged to be very careful and avoid contact with available products as this may cause scratches to the lenses.
  • In the event of bad weather, there will be no refund for tickets already purchased, regardless of the channel through which they were purchased.
  • It is forbidden to abandon waste, which must be placed in the appropriate containers, to uproot flowers or damage plants and trees.

We invite customers to:

  • Do not use soaps, detergents, medicinal substances or any other substances in the pools that may alter the chemical composition of the water.
  • Do not offend decorum or morals with unsuitable and indecorous clothing and attitudes.

Defaulters will be reprimanded by De Montel's staff and in the event of persistent breach of the aforementioned provisions, they may be forced to leave the spa, without reimbursement of the price of the spa and/or any expenses incurred by them.

All customers are reminded that, for reasons related to privacy regulations, which can be found on the website www.demontel.it, it is not possible to take photographs and/or record videos in the areas inside and outside the facility to third parties.

De Montel reserves the right to suspend entry to De Montel in order to ensure the safety of customers, in the event of excessive crowding, including during long weekends and holidays.

In order to benefit from the reduced rates or conventions, you must present the documentation indicated on the entrance ticket purchased.
